About us
Oppolab is part of Opposite. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean The Trustee for Duck Family Trust, trading as Opposite (ABN 34 551 762 576), of Victoria, Australia. You can contact us at hello@opposite.com.au.
By using this site or buying from it, you agree to these terms.
Using the site and the free tools
The free tools on this site are for general information and reflection. They are not professional, psychological, legal or career advice, and they are not a diagnosis. Use your own judgement, and get professional advice where you need it.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
Prices and GST
- All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
- Shipping for Values Cards is a flat $12.50 per order, anywhere in Australia. We currently ship only within Australia.
- We may change prices at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. If we have made an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before your order goes ahead and you can cancel for a full refund.
Orders and payment
- Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your order is accepted once your payment is confirmed, and you will receive a receipt by email.
- Paying by purchase order. Choose “Request an invoice” in the cart. We will send a tax invoice, payable within 30 days of the invoice date. We may wait for a purchase order before starting work or dispatching goods.
Delivery
- Values Cards usually ship within 3 to 5 business days, with tracking by email. Delivery times are estimates.
- Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered. If an order arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date and we will replace it.
- Digital copies of the card sets you buy are provided with your order.
Assessments
- Leadership 360 is priced per leader. After purchase we send a link to nominate raters for each leader. The survey closes when all raters have responded or after 30 days, whichever comes first, and the report is provided in a one-to-one debrief.
- Psychosocial Risk Assessment is licensed by workforce band, one licence per organisation per assessment, and starts with a scoping call.
- The quality of any report depends on how many people take part and how candidly they answer.
- The Psychosocial Risk Assessment provides structured evidence that psychosocial hazards have been assessed. It is not a compliance certification, and it does not replace your own duties under work health and safety law.
Returns, refunds and cancellations
- Values Cards. If you change your mind, you can return unused sets in their original condition within 30 days of delivery. Contact us first, then send them back at your own cost, and we will refund the price of the sets (original shipping is not refunded).
- Leadership 360 and Psychosocial Risk Assessment. You can cancel for a full refund at any time before raters or staff are invited to take part. Once the survey has opened, change-of-mind refunds are not available.
- None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, explained below.
Booked sessions and programs
For Rapid sessions, Deep Work programs and other booked work, unless your proposal says otherwise:
- 30 or more days’ notice: you can cancel or reschedule at no charge.
- 14 to 29 days’ notice: a cancellation fee of 50% of the fee applies.
- Less than 14 days’ notice: the full fee applies.
- You can reschedule once at no charge if you give us at least 14 days’ notice.
- Travel and accommodation costs we have already committed to are payable whenever you cancel.
- If we have to cancel, we will offer a new date or a full refund.
Using our materials
- The card sets, reports, frameworks, tools and other materials on this site are owned by Opposite and protected by copyright.
- When you buy them, you may use them for your own organisation’s internal purposes, including printing replacement cards from the digital copies for internal use.
- You may not resell, republish or distribute our materials, or use them to deliver paid services to other organisations, without our written permission.
- If you share or quote our materials, please credit Opposite.
- You may use the reports we produce for you within your organisation. Our methods, question sets and frameworks remain ours.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our services also come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to our goods or services is limited to supplying the goods or services again, or refunding what you paid for them. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit or opportunity.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.
