Who is asking

This survey is run by Opposite (The Trustee for Duck Family Trust, trading as Opposite (ABN 34 551 762 576)) on behalf of your organisation, which has engaged us to carry out a Leadership 360 or Psychosocial Risk Assessment.

What we collect and why

• Your answers to the survey questions. We use them to produce a report that helps your organisation understand leadership behaviour or workplace risks, and decide what to do about them.
• For Leadership 360 raters, your name, email address and working relationship to the leader. These were given to us by the leader or your organisation so we could invite you.
• Some surveys ask about work group or role, so results can be reported by group.

Some Psychosocial Risk questions ask about workload, stress and wellbeing. We use those answers only for this assessment.

Taking part is voluntary

You do not have to take part. You can skip any question or stop at any time, and choosing not to take part has no consequences for you.

Your employer never sees your individual answers

• Results are reported in aggregate only.
• Psychosocial Risk Assessment: we do not report results for any group of fewer than eight people.
• Leadership 360: rater feedback is anonymous, except that the line manager’s rating is identified. If fewer than six raters respond, we talk to the organisation before going ahead, to protect anonymity.

Where it is stored and for how long

Responses are stored on Australian-based servers, and only the Opposite staff working on this engagement can see them. Raw responses are deleted 24 months after the survey closes. The report your organisation receives contains aggregated results only.

If a question raises something difficult

If anything in the survey brings up something you would like to talk about, support is available: your organisation’s Employee Assistance Program if it has one, Lifeline on 13 11 14, or Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636.

Questions, access or withdrawing

Email hello@opposite.com.au with any questions. Because the survey is designed so that your answers cannot be traced back to you, we may not be able to find and remove an individual response once it has been submitted. For Leadership 360, contact us before the rater window closes if you want to withdraw.
